this crash had a car actually BLOW UP If not for these men more lives would have been lost. The Seward Hwy is one of the most deadly roads in the USA. Unfortunately it is the ONLY road we have going south. Actually Alaska has only ONE road. You can go North or you can go South, but one road is all we have. Except the cities of course. I urge you to read the article. The men got the passengers out right before the car blew up. It quite a fireball I hear. Inspiring and lucky they were fast on the thinking.

FASHION TIP OF THE DAY 

 Ok for the fashion tip of the day, lets talk about hair accessories. They are all the rage lately and they have all sorts of decorations on them. We have headbands that have huge flowers, small flowers, feathers and they are gorgeous. I am here to tell you all as well as the ladies that they are FABULOUS!!! Have the confidence to wear a headband with a giant flower on it. if it drowns out your face, then push it back further. But the point is NOT to hold our hair back like we did when we were young, but to place over the top of the hair, where you would have it look best. Doesn't matter what side the flower is on or the feather or whatever you choose. Dare to wear one, no matter your age and have some fun with it. I own about 60 of them. They are FUN, sassy and add so much to your outfit. I would keep the large feathers and flowers to casual outfits tho. Not a cocktail dress. If you are wearing a cocktail dress, then a headband that has flat feathers or flowers or just sparkles. Now we have hair clips and they are just as big as the headbands only you can use them as a pin or a hair clip. i find both useful. Wear them toward the back of your head, higher up and enjoy. They are fun to play with and to use and look great.

Now if wearing an outrageous headband or hair clip, DO NOT overdo the jewelry. No large earrings. some hanging single strand of silver or beads if you have long hair. Long meaning to your shoulders or longer. If you have short hair, use studs of any color, usually to match your outfit. Make up light and don't forget the sunscreen.

While we are talking about hair accessories i have a penchant for wigs as well. They are really just an accessory and I have about 18 of them. All colors , all lengths, all fun. So if it's time for the hairdresser and it's going to be another week, I will wear a wig. I will wear one anyway if i feel like it. I love them. I pay about $25-$40 for a decent wig that is washable, but no curling irons. they are synthetic. Go to the wig store try one you really like on and have fun. It can be like being a whole new person. Wear a headband or hair accessory with it.
